Photography can take you to all corners of the globe, and through all weather conditions.
Whether it’s ice cold wind, blankets of snow, torrential rain or those sunny days we all dream of, your clothing & gear needs to handle the environment you plan to be in.
Below I’ve pieced together my top recommendations for you. These are the products and services I love and use to ensure I’m ready for whatever conditions come my way.
Please share if you think it will help someone.
Amazon – World’s most popular online retailer
A retailer you can rely on. You’re on a photography trip, and something breaks or goes missing, and you need a quick replacement? Head to Amazon for all your needs.
Amazon can guarantee overnight delivery and also have the option of same day delivery in most major cities!

Icebreaker – Merino wool outdoor clothing
Sustainable adventure brand Icebreaker sources merino wool from the Southern Alps of New Zealand to make their Apparel. The wool is warm in the winter and cool in the summer, perfect for any conditions you will face. Icebreaker produces unbeatable quality base layers, underwear and t-shirts.
While it can be seen as a pricier option, these products tend to last far longer than cheaper brands which use synthetic fibres. One of the first Icebreaker products I bought was a Headband over seven years ago, and it still looks and feels brand new!
The North Face– Iconic outdoor gear & clothing
The Ultimate gear to keep you exploring. The North Face has been providing outdoor enthusiasts with high quality clothing and equipment for years. I highly recommend their Base Camp Duffel range, which are made to take the toughest treatments. These are made with 100% recycled materials, a great sustainable option for travelling.
Vans – Everyday Footwear for Ultimate Comfort
Vans has long been a brand that I’ve always relied on for everyday style and comfort. Check out their new UltraRange which are a great addition for any long journey or adventure around the world.
